The second issue of Foreknowledge is out, and DAGGRE got a call-out in it, along with some of the rest of IARPA’s collaborative analyst teams. Right in there on page 13, nestled in the middle of a rich graphical and textual arrangement of ideas and scholarship. This issue delves into the world of crowd-sourcing and collaboration among analysts, and is well worth the read.
If you’re not familiar with Foreknowledge, you may want to look into it. It is a free, bi-monthly e-magazine focused on developments in intelligence aggregation and analysis. Foreknowledge covers a wide array of domains, from national defense agencies to crime intelligence to former intelligence officers and, of course, universities and think tanks. Seeking to globally connect members of the intelligence analysis trade with each other and keep them up to date on emerging thoughts and research, Foreknowledge is off to a solid start, and definitely reading you should add to your list.
